The solution was implemented to improve enterprise wide business collaboration and making it easier for employees to access knowledge, artefacts, seek expert guidance, and collaborate over business events. The solution implemented various web parts for the in-house cross-functional team and also clients to collaborate with process forms automation, online conversation, contacting management, idea sharing and etc. The various forms like Final Clearance, Visitor Gate Pass, ID Card Issuance, Passport release request and etc. were automated using SharePoint Workflows.
Procurement and Payment Process automation project was done for one the largest bank in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Bank receives large number of invoices every day with many of the approval being done on email. COMM-IT implemented an Intranet based collaboration platform on SharePoint with complete workflow automation for the entire invoice payment process from Procurement to Payment department. The Workflow enablement of the process allowed the system to track each and every invoices status, routing to various departments for approval, sending reminders and if further delays then escalating to right managers.
This SharePoint Portal and Collaboration Project was implemented for one of world’s leading Food and Beverages company with operations over 200 countries. The project was implemented for the AMEA region for the company with the purpose of providing common platform for better collaboration for all the employees and increased process efficiency. The scope includes portal (for team, division, department and individual), collaborative workspaces, Document Management, automation of processes and easy search and access for people and information.

This Project was implemented for the worlds second largest restaurant chain and was implemented for region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The deployment included close to 3000 screens deployed over 400 restaurants. The static menu board used earlier were replaced with Digital Menu and was powered over SCALA Digital Signage Platform. The Solution allowed the chain to create dynamic and attractive digital menu board with eye catching videos that grabs customer attentions and provide you an edge over competition. With platform the user is able manage all the restaurant centrally with the flexibility to modify digital menus, nutrition content, changes prices centrally and within minutes which get reflected across all the locations. We can also automatically schedule different menu, pricing and discounts at different times of the day, holidays, national and religious events and etc; thereby maximizing targeted sales. COMM-IT is also managing the complete support and menu content management under outsourcing support contract.
COMM-IT implemented this Digital Signage project for the biggest the private healthcare provider in the Middle East. Hospital is operating 14 Medical facilities across Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. This project was implemented over SCALA digital signage platform and is driving around 500 screens in six locations across three different countries in Middle East. The hospital information is being displayed at waiting areas and at nursing station zones the solution displays patient information and alerts. There is tight integration with HIS system. Content for the Waiting Area screens and the white board screens at the Nursing Station Area are managed through web services integration with all backend applications, including VIDA (HIS) which shows Lab results, Radiology, Nurse Call and Meal Orders online.
This Digital Signage Project was implemented for one of the leading Bank in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Bank wanted to improve marketing and sales of its financial products. The Digital Signage platform implemented by COMM-IT provided and effective platform for both corporate communication and also for Sales and Marketing of its financial products. The network of centrally controlled and managed displays allowed high resolution eye catching images, text and audio/video content tailored to individual branches offices to be displayed. The Managers of each branch is now able to roll out offers and promotion with click of a button. The system is also integrated with TV Channels providing live News channels and is also integrated to the Queuing System(Qmatic) to provide alerts for the customers.

The enterprise portal helped CLASS in enforcing compliance to procedure across the organization with automated approvals routing, escalation and SLAs compliance. The authorization Matrix ensures that master data can be initiated / updated only by those who are authorized to do so. Business also has a need to capture the process & forms data and send reminder notification where delay in completing the stages of a functional approval is requested.
This HR process automation Portal was implemented for one of world’s leading Food and Beverages. The workflow based application implemented helped streamlined the process for new joiners and track application for resignation and calculate their FnF settlements. This helped provide visibility to all groups involved in new hiring process; HR, Accounting, IT, Admin and Purchasing. Personal accounts (travel, insurance, credit card etc.) are automatically opened and requirements for computer access, furniture, and etc are routed to the appropriate departments and tracked by managers. The FnF process automation allowed information for resignation to be routed through workflow engine to all relevant department with each department closing all the files related to the employees e.g. IT ensuring return of all IT assets, closure of user accounts and password and etc.
This Trade Promotion Workflow Portal was implemented for one of world’s leading Food and Beverages. The Company undertakes promotion worth Millions of US Dollars every year boost its sales. Despite significant investments, question always persisted How profitable were our promotions?. They wanted to optimize their systems to get approval from various levels and collate data from the system for its analytics. Key feature includes A) workflow based approval process, which would follow hierarchy basis region, type of trade and amount of promotion. All these PRS services like Chats, Horoscope and etc. are offered under revenue sharing agreement basis where in the revenue generated is split between the telecom operator and the service provider. COMM-IT solution for revenue settlement and revenue fraud management ensures that billing and invoicing is done on realized revenue and also detect any kind of revenue leakage frauds with PRS operators. The functionality of the solution includes PRS CDR Management (IN and PSTN Exchange), PRS Call Processing and Reconciliation, Tracking and Monitoring Heavy PRS Calls to detect Revenue Frauds, Revenue Settlement, Financial Reporting to Analyze Profitability and etc.
This Telecom Self Care Portal was implemented for one of the leading Public Sector Telecom Operator in Delhi and Mumbai. The Self-service online portal runs on Microsoft .NET Enterprise Servers and uses XML-based Web services and Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) to integrate telecom operators back-end systems and also with third party application integration. Portal is secured by Digital Signatures allowing customers to fill in request forms online for service provisioning. Customers can now check the status on their payments, discounts, new offers, usage and change subscription services. E-payment gateway enabled to make payments via credit cards. Third party payment gateways can also be plug-in with the portal for customer convenience. The portal is having a call center interface allowing to contact customers by agents. There MIS reports and Escalation report to the Top Management for better service visibility.
COMM-IT implemented a specialized billing application to fill in the existing billing solutions gaps with the Telecom Operators. This solution was implemented for telephone connections (Mobile and Landline) which are provided to Indian Member of Parliament by one of the leading public sector telecom company in India. These connections can be taken by MP anywhere in India. The billing process is quite complex in the sense that it involves gathering of information from various states and each of these states may have different tariff regimes and different taxation structure. Our resultant software implemented named as MPBS; enabled telecom operator to expedite the billing and connection provisioning. The task which used to take around a month in manually collection details from all over India was made online whereby the billing details and provisioning is done at the click of the button.
